This Privacy Notice explains how Motion Movement (trading as “Motion Mvmnt”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website and subscription service. Motion Movement is the data controller of the personal data described below.

Data we collect

Account email, password (stored hashed), workout history and program preferences, support messages, and basic usage and device telemetry (including IP address) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your data and legal basis

• Provide the service (account creation, sync progress, deliver content) — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Customer support — legal basis: performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
• Security and fraud prevention — legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
• Product improvement and analytics — legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Service emails (transactional) — legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Marketing emails, where applicable — legal basis: consent (you can withdraw at any time).
• Compliance with law (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests) — legal basis: legal obligation.

Sharing

We share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

• Hosting and backend provider (Supabase / Lovable Cloud) — to host the application, database and authentication.
• Merchant of Record (Paddle.com) — Paddle is the seller of record for all subscription orders and handles payment processing, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund handling. See Paddle’s buyer terms for details.
• Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails (e.g. password reset, billing notifications).
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably required.
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process personal data outside your country of residence. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Retention

We retain personal data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. You may delete your account at any time; we will delete or anonymise associated data unless retention is required by law (for example, tax records held by Paddle as Merchant of Record).

Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. If you are in the UK / EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email support@motionmvmnt.com.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
